Yamanaka Ino was an only daughter of an over doting father, spoiled at a young age, she was brought up thinking that the world revolved around her. Upon going in to the Ninja Academy, she soon realized the world was much larger than she had previously considered. That it went far beyond her little family living above the Flower shop. Ino instantly became popular among the other girls, even some of the boys. Confident and opinionated at a young age, she held herself high and was baffled when others did not walk as she did. During her time in the Academy, she met a young girl whom people often singled out for her over sized forehead. Watching, she saw as they picked on her, made her feel less than she was. This angered Ino, thinking that everyone had an inner beauty, that everyone should be treated with respect.

She decided to befriend this shy girl, telling her that even the most beautiful flowers take time to blossom. Though she had started rather spoiled, by her family and peers, she grew up less stuck up because of her friendship with Sakura. That was until, Sakura discovered Ino liked the same boy as her. Being rejected by the one friend she cared about the most, Ino reverted back to her spoiled selfish ways. Scorned, angry, for a long time she chose to fight against the pink haired girl, and boss the world around.

But that wasn't the girl she really was. Becoming the leader, [ in her own right ] of Team 10, Ino slowly began to come out of her shell again. Being around Shikamaru and Chouji gave her a chance to be herself. Still confident, yet less angry. The wounds so deeply created by Sakura began to heal after her team attempted to save Sakura's during the Chuunin exam. Friendship mending, though rivalry still intact.

Over time, Ino had become a more bold, prominent person. Still very bossy, yet sweet. She thinks more of others than she once did, having been very influenced by Chouji's kindness and Shikamaru's attitude. Snarky, quick witted, and fast on her feet-- though she still has her flaws. She cherishes her looks, and craves attention. She's a talented ninja with the ability to both read your mind, and force you to do things she wants. Ino has quite a temper, but she's most likely to plot your downfall behind a smile than right out tell you she's going to hurt you. If she warns you, you're not in it too deep, if she quietly broods, you're in trouble.
